Dr. Donna Jones returned home to the Bahamas in 2021 after decades of working in the USA as a healthcare clinician -executive. The impact of hurricane Dorian on the residents of Abaco, working with the Ministry of Health and Wellness and the Bahamas Dental Association ignited her desire to purchase and restore a home in Treasure Cay where she lives full time. Serving as an Abaco Strong board member aligns with her philanthrophic goals of assisting with recovery efforts beyond the devastation of the storm. She is passionate about meeting people from around the world, traveling, sewing, crafting, gardening, her sorority – Zeta Phi Beta and spending time with her adorable grandchildren.
