Abaco Strong is excited to announce that we have received a grant from Treasure Cay Community Foundation to purchase 75 new mattresses with bed frames for the residents that are in need in Treasure Cay and the surrounding communities including Blackwood, Cooperstown, Sandbanks, and Dundastown. Many people are still in need of basic furnishings as a result of Hurricane Dorian and have been sleeping on the floor. We believe that supplying beds will be a positive step forward toward recovery. We will be shipping to Cooperstown for delivery to individual homes in the next few weeks. You can help by purchasing sheets and pillows for these individuals and families, many of whom are single parents or elderly. Please join our Sleep Soundly Treasure Cay Campaign. Even a small donation of $20 can purchase two pillows and help a family get a good nights sleep.
